Cindy Garcia, MA, NBCC
I believe every person has the capacity for healing and growth.
Throughout my years as a counselor, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples through anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal transformation. My work is guided by the belief that meaningful healing is possible when we are met with compassion, curiosity, and hope.
Working as a therapist is truly a dream come true for me. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, experiencing the beauty of nature, cooking, yoga, swimming, and reading. I'm committed to lifelong learning—both professionally and personally—and continue to pursue knowledge in psychology, wellness, and personal growth so I can best support those I have the privilege of serving.

My Approach
I believe healing is a whole-person journey that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. My approach goes beyond simply reducing symptoms. Together, we'll explore the experiences and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools for lasting change. Using evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and wellness-focused practices—our work will be tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Credentials & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Colorado and Texas, a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC #1093818), and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional.
I am committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursue continuing education to provide the highest quality care for my clients. My advanced training includes Polyvagal Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), emotional regulation, ADHD, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, cultural diversity, aging and cognition, personality disorders, dance and movement, eco-therapy, anti-inflammatory lifestyle approaches, and the connection between emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.
